The live-action Legend of Zelda movie just tightened its timeline. Directed by Wes Ball (the Maze Runner trilogy) and produced by Shigeru Miyamoto and Avi Arad, the film wrapped shooting and had its 2027 theatrical premiere moved up a week, from May 7 to April 30, with Bo Bragason starring as Zelda and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link.
After its theatrical run, the film heads straight to Netflix worldwide through a Pay-1 streaming deal with distributor Sony Pictures — so however the box office goes, it won't stay a theater-only release for long.
This Hyrule Edition Switch Lite carries the same aesthetic into hardware, well ahead of any of that. It's sold out direct at CDJapan, reachable now through their Proxy Shopping Service.
