JAPAN_SEEN ("we", "us") operates japanseen.shop, a companion site to the JAPAN_SEEN YouTube Shorts channel. This page explains what happens to your data when you visit.

What we collect directly

Nothing. This site has no accounts, no logins, no newsletter signup, and no first-party tracking cookies. We don't know who you are unless you choose to contact us.

Hosting and technical logs

The site is served through Cloudflare, our hosting and CDN provider. Like almost any website, Cloudflare processes standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. We don't have access to this beyond aggregate, anonymized traffic statistics.

Contact form

If you reach out through our contact form, the name, email address, and message you submit are collected by Google Forms and shared with us so we can reply. That submission is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Third-party retailer links

Product links on this site point to CDJapan and other retailers. When you click through, you leave japanseen.shop, and that retailer's own privacy policy and cookies apply — we don't control or see what happens on their site. Some of these are affiliate links; see our Terms of Use for the disclosure.

Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
