While everyone's chasing Switch 2 stock, the secondhand 3DS market has been quietly climbing. A New Nintendo 3DS now resells for around 36,800 yen, roughly double its original 2014 launch price of 18,800 yen — and unlike a new console, there's no factory line to fix the shortage. Retro hardware only shrinks in supply from here: units get discarded, break down, or simply age out, with nothing new coming to replace them.
This New 3DS LL in Metallic Blue is part of that same aging, increasingly scarce lineup. It's sold out direct at CDJapan, reachable now through their Proxy Shopping Service.
