SNK announced the NeoGeo AES+, a reissue of its premium 1990s arcade home console that uses ASICs rather than software emulation to replicate the original hardware's behavior. Shipments begin November 12, 2026, with ten launch titles including Metal Slug, The King of Fighters 2002, and Samurai Showdown V Special, delivered as physical cartridges compatible with original NeoGeo carts.
This NEOGEO mini is an earlier take on reviving the same console, released in 2018. It's available through CDJapan's Proxy Shopping Service.
