Nintendo Switch 2 launched in mid-2025, and more than a year in, its accessory ecosystem is still filling out. Third-party gaming controllers, Switch 2-rated microSD Express cards for the console's larger game files, dust covers for the dock, and storage bags built around the exact size of the Switch 2 set have all shown up on CDJapan's shelves.

Nintendo's own Pro Controller sits in the middle of that ecosystem as the default upgrade pick, and it's been one of the tighter-supplied pieces of it — CDJapan's listing caps purchases at one per customer and shows only a few units at a time.
