Dragon Ball just got two new anime projects announced within the same month. "Bills" is an enhanced remaster of the existing Dragon Ball Super anime — new cuts, reanimated sequences, new dubbing — airing this fall on Fuji TV. "Galactic Patrol" picks up the story past the Universe Survival arc, adapting the manga's Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc with an all-new antagonist.

Both projects still credit Akira Toriyama, who passed away in March 2024, drawing on designs and notes he left behind — part of a steady stream of new Dragon Ball material arriving more than 40 years after the manga's 1984 debut.

Figuarts Zero's Goku — "Arrival at the Battlefield," a STARTune release capturing his entrance in the Frieza arc — is riding the same renewed attention, even though it isn't due out until February 2027. Pre-orders at CDJapan are already closed out, with the listing reachable now only through their Proxy Shopping Service.
