BEYBLADE X is having a loud month. The anime, Shin Mirai-hen, went back to regular broadcast on Japanese TV on July 10 after running exclusively on the franchise's YouTube channel since April — a rare streaming-to-broadcast reversal.
Overseas, the momentum matches. At Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles (July 2-5), the BEYBLADE X booth pulled in over 7,000 visitors and more than 2,500 people into actual battles, capped by a finals win for a 26-year-old competitor from San Diego. Takara Tomy puts the franchise's lifetime shipments at over 560 million units worldwide since 1999.
The BX-00 set marking the franchise's 25th anniversary — a Takara Tomy Mall-limited commemorative release — is a nice symbol of that scale, but it's also already gone from direct sale. CDJapan lists it sold out and reachable only through their Proxy Shopping Service, order caveats included.
