Japan's national team, Samurai Blue, clinched its 2026 World Cup spot on March 20, 2025 with a 2-0 win over Bahrain — faster than any team outside the three co-host nations, and enough for an eighth consecutive World Cup appearance under manager Hajime Moriyasu.

The draw put Japan in Pot 2 for the first time in the team's history, landing them in Group F alongside the Netherlands, Tunisia, and a UEFA play-off winner.

Beyblade X licensed the moment with its own Samurai Blue-branded starter, carrying the team's name and colors into a make-to-order run. It's sold out direct at CDJapan, reachable now through their Proxy Shopping Service.
